8.5 rear from a 73

Looking for opinions: The owner is parting a 350/350 SS. Ratio is not confirmed but may be a 3.08 non-posi based on novaresource. Mileage is not known. It will come with lower shock mounts with possibly new springs. Not sure if the driveshaft or E-brake cabes are included.

$300 sound reasonable?

$300 if you know the mileage, and the gears are in good shape (visual inspection) and new springs.

In unknown condition that rear is only worth $75-100 in my neck of the woods.

An 8.5 with 2.73s went for about $120 (locally) less than 3 weeks ago. Not sure if the 3.08s made it worth more.
