Taillight housing?

I pulled my tail lights off and out to make a new gasket for them. But i started to think when i was cleaning them off, what if i were to chrome or reflective spray the inside of the tail light housing? Would it make the lights brighter?

seems as tho it would, havent tried it let us know if you do and the results. i think chrome would be the better of the 2

Theoretically yes, it would be more reflective. If you were to do that and also get wide angle LED bulbs, not the straight LEDs, and not the expensive conversion kits, they would probably be really bright.
