Not sure what the specs are if if there is one but crank em to 60 ft#s or just over while lining up the cotter pins.

if it's the torque spec for the big nut that holds the pitman arm to the steering box it's pretty high at around 140ft lbs if i remember correctly.

Hey Now. Ball joints, Tie rod ends, Drag link to Pitman arm, All the ones with Cotter pin are 42-47 ft lbs while aligning the NEW cotter pin. UK66 is right, 140 to 150 ft lbs pitman arm to sector shaft. Mounting bolts Ball joints to upper "A" arm and Lower control arm, 20 - 25 ft lbs. These are grade 8 bolts. Lower control arm Camber Pivot 90 - 120 ft lbs. Pivot Shaft/Cross Shaft to Body Skirt/shock tower, 80 -90 ft lbs, Upper "A" arm Bushing (the nut on each end) of the Pivot shaft/Cross shaft 40 - 60 ft lbs. Strut Rods, front nuts, 100 -125 ft lbs, Strut Rod to control arm, 40 - 50 ft lbs. These are from the Chevy Shop Manual. Enjoy your Chevy II/Nova. Be sure and get the alignment done, and be sure to check Idler arm for its being tight. Respectfully, "Bill's" II :)
