Has any one use the 26x7.5-15 front runers in a first gen with 15x3.5 rims?

I have a set i want to put in the nova but sure it will fit.

I don't think they'll fit without rubbing on the front edge of the wheel opening. I've run them on my '64 before but I have a Mustang II front suspension with the front tire re-centered in the wheel opening.

I had a pair on my 65 and the drivers side rubbed, not the passenger side. So I sold them on ebay and got a set of GY 4.5x 25's. They're not a dot, but I run the same tire on my dragster and they're pretty beefy. I've seen another racer at Norwalk use them on his street 65 and it looks good. After I get my car off the stands, I'll be posting update pics. Dave

I don't think they will fit either unless you move the wheel back in the wheel well. Here is a photo of dad's 63 with the m/t 24.5X5 on a 4 inch rim.

My car is still on the jacks. Soon coming off.

Chuck, didn't realize that was your dads car. See him at Norwalk a lot. Nice ride. Dave

Whats the tire and rim size your dad is running on the back of the nova? Can you please also post pictures of the rear suspension... just curious.
