sucks doesnt it ! you pay near 3000.00 bucks and you get CRAPPY instructions ,or none at all !
the spacers you are talkin about are for the bars that go to the firewall , measure your old shims and use the new ones . as for the hinge brackets ,they go on the outside of the fenderwell panels . (SUCKS BECAUSE THEY ARE VISIBLE) .

the spacer are in the bag with the hinge for the hood. there lil round spacer about an inch thick
nova656567 6th-November-2008, 04:04 PM Spacers are for the hinges. They help with the alignment of the hinges to the hood.
To clarify: The Superide II front clip is a coil-over front end. The MII clip is the coil spring front end, and can be ordered with stock height or drop spindles.

that did it. the pictures is what i needed. i have stock spindles. and i ask for 2in drop too. i fixen to go to my paper work and see what i payed for. now the ppl with stock spindles, have you all been cutting them to get it to the right ride height. how much have you all been cutting. what is the most someone has cut?
ibuildm 7th-November-2008, 12:05 AM Your lower a-arms should be paralell to the ground at ride height whether you have stock or dropped spindles. If they are down at the outer ends a little I would not cut the coils. They will settle as much as a inch after driving a few miles. If you cut too much now you may be buying new springs later. If you need help getting the spindles replaced let me know.

I have the heidts front end on the 66 with a two drop and the previous owner cut the coils to far and the a arms had an upward pitch (not good - should be level) The ride sucked with the cut coils and frankly the drop past the 2 inches was too low for my car - I cracked the housing on my steering rack coming into a parking garage dip. I just ordered stock coil replacements from Tim - thanks by the way- they arrived this week. Can't wait to pick up that lost inch from the coil cut and improve the ride. That my 2 cents...
