Is the sway bar off a 75 and up Nova the same as the 68 to 74? Anyone know the cutoff years on these parts.

The rear sway bar wasn't available until spring of 1970...it became part of the F41 suspension package. I believe the sway bar was the same thru at least 1972 and maybe until 1974....some of the parts gurus can confirm this. Original bars with the hardware are rare and command a premium when offered for sale. There are some quality aftermarket units that work much better than the factory original set up....we have one on our 68 car and it is great. If originality is the goal be prepared to pay up.

James, best way to tell would be post the dimensions.Do you have them? I have a friend that has the sway bar. I may be able to get it from him. It was off a later 70"s Ventura, he has a 74 GTO and said it looked like it would bolt on his car. He never installed it because he runs a 9" Ford rear end because he had all the parts he needed to make it worl with a posi, brakes, and 31 spline axles and 3.50 gear. The sway bar didn't work on the Ford rear so it has sat for several years unused. If the later ones aren't anything special I don't want to get it from him. It a drive to his house so and I don't get there often.
