The 4th generation does have a lot better steering/syspension geometry and larger disc brake calipers. Plus, I bet you can use the heavy Camaro/Transam sway bars and quick ratio steering boxes. Bumping this to the top-maybe someone that's done this will see it and offer more info. Bob taz3 2nd-October-2008, 06:38 PM It's probably just as easy to use the correct set up.Your spindle can be machined to accept the caliper bracket and backing plate, that is available from most aftermarket places, rotors, calipers and flex lines are available at NAPA or most parts suppliers.I would also recommend a 70 or newer master cylinder and set up. Jasons72 3rd-October-2008, 01:20 PM I took a set of 69 camaro spindles with stock disc brakes and it bolted up just fine and now my car will throw you through the windsheild if you want it to. Simple unbolt and re-use original steering arms; as drum and disc steering arms are the same .... Changing the steering arms was the only mod I had to make. | |
