Hello everyone,
Here is a problem I have, maybe some can help.

What I have or had:
I am running a Heidts clip for about 7 years or so. Started out with the Air lift kit that Heidts was offering, not what I was looking for, returned it with no problem. Running Heidts inner fender panels, have the 2" drop spindles, willwood brakes, shockwaves, w/Airride Tech. lower A-arms. Running skinnies on the front.

My problem:

Want to run an 18 x 7 wheel w/4bs -225 40 18
I am told this should fit. I doesen't . It hits the front lip of the fender and I am afraid that when I turn the tire will hit the top lip of the fender if I hit a bump.

Does anyone have a suggestion on what I can do? (Getting rid of setup not an option.)

Roll the fender lip and run a 225/35/18.
It has the same tread and section width but is 3/4" shorter in height.

Thank you HRBS
I switched out the tires today. Also got the car realigned. This helped out in so many ways. The new tires should fit just fine. I will let you know how it goes.

Yeah that would help too. A negative camber would move the upper portion of the tire closer to the fender lip too. Hope it works out for you. I think you'll be fine because that wheel width and offset "should" work.
