We are in the market for a disc brake kit for our 66 Chevy II. Has anyone used the kit on Ebay from Direct Fit Brakes. Also if anyone has any pointers please feel free to pass them along.
Sunday was our first outting at the local strip and the car is rather scary
with the drum brakes.

Not sure about the brake kit in question but some things to keep in mind. Most disc conversions widen the front track width by about 3/8 of an inch each side. This makes it difficult to run anything wider than 5 inch wheels.A "zero offset" type conversion keeps the track width the same as drum brakes.CPP makes a Zero offset type conversion.
