Sometimes it seems I'm going backwards on my project but I did reach a kind of a milestone over the weekend. I got the car back on the ground in one piece. I will try to get the "fit" pretty good, do some more priming and blocking and then take it back apart for painting the jambs.

This is what it looked like earlier this summer.

I guess I've been working on this car for about 4 years. Doing everything yourself is rewarding but slow. Re-doing work is a PITA. Before putting the fenders on I changed out new front springs that I got from Eaton that were supposed to replacements for the originals; they were so stiff that I knew I better change them. I ordered what are supposed be exact replacements from Rick's Camaro that are the same part number that came on the car. I will also re-do the inner fenders when I take it apart because I know I can do them better now and use better (tougher) paint. Thanks for the comments.

It looks good! The body work part is the slowest and the most important. Cant go back and fix those little dents after the paints on very easily. Now that its on the frame it will go alot faster keep up the good work!

I had a 66 SS since 1979 and only have driven it one summer of that year. I've worked on it on and off for years but it's still a ways off.
Beat that for slow....
