Hi there
anyone have a picture of what an original Air Cleaner looks like from a 1969 Nova SS 350 - 300HP L-48 4 Speed car ? thanks:)

Here's one. For 1970 they switched to a shorter air cleaner lid.

yeah thats the one! the only thing is in 69 the 4spd car did not have the thermos vac valve on the snorkel, only automatice did. however the snorkel was the same for the 4 spd but i believe only smooth there, right? thnanks:)

It looks like 69novajoe has a Z/28 style air cleaner retrofitted to his. I think that Bigdaddy is correct about the thermostatic air cleaner, it was only for automatics, except for Califonia.
