I have just decided I will be doing an engine swap on my car and wanted to know where I can get a new or reman steering box for my car so I can also fix it while the engine is out. My front end is new side to side and drives/rides fine so I dont wanna do the clip swap on this one. Any help would be appreciated.

They are not too difficult to rebuild. I just did a spare from a '64 for my '65. The only real tricky part is having the right size driver to remove / install pitman shaft bushings. Maybe grab a spare box from a guy that converted to an aftermarket clip, get a $60 kit from NNN and give it a try?

If you want to quicken your steering and be able to use any oil pan you want you may want to consider the Churchboys rack conversion. It will cost more than a box but well worth it in the end.

Try these guys but call them and ask them to check their cores first that way the box can be built and sent so it's ready to go in when you have the motor out and then send the old one back when your done for a core return. Just did my 66 and the price was unbeatable.
