62 steering wheel removal

I removed the horn button and noticed there was a goofey cup thingy with three funky headed screws I'm guessing I need to remove them but what type of bit does it take???? Sorry the pic is not real good I had to use my phone wife hid the good digi cam

after you get that off, you'll need to use a gear puller to get the wheel off the splined shaft.

They are clutch head screws. You should be able to pick up a set of drivers at your local NAPA store. Usually a set of 3 in a package.

The wheel has threaded holes in the face, you will need some bolts that fit into those holes that hook to the puller. I guess what you want is more of a harmonic balancer puller than a gear puller. Something like this:

You can buy a specific steering wheel puller and then its a peice of cake to take the steering wheel off. NAPA has them
