tubbing my 64chevyII need help

starting to tubb my 64.did any one build some kind of stand to keep the car from spreading when you cut the floor pans out. any ideas, pics and help are appreciated

Are you cutting the whole floor out? yuo should weld in some 1in tubbing for support before you start to cut

Here's what I did. I positioned the bar just above where the frame rail would sit so the body could actually rest on top of the rails once in place so it would be easy to line everything up before welding. I had the body of the car well blocked up so it wouldn't move. You have to keep in mind that the body is very flexible when you cut a lot out so be aware of how what your removing will effect that.
