defrost

my car is a non ac car and i want to know how i can check if i have working defrost, while on the subjust i dont know how to even work the controlls on my car:(

If they're like my 70 or 71, the controls are on the dash. The left one is for the heater fan. "On" is all the way down. Then the middle one is for the heater. Again, "On" is all the way at the bottom. Then, the far right is for the defrosters. Again, "On" is all the way down. Regardless if you only use the heater or defroster, the heater fan must always be on. Of course, this is assuming a 73 is like a 70. You'll know if the defrosters work if you turn them on, and feel the air coming up through the vents on the dash.

ok tthe controlls look the same as my 72 so i will test and figure this out

push all the controls down then put your hand were defrost is on top of dash right before the window. is you feel air you got defrost

defrosters dont work too well w/o ac.

mine works good.. your just redirecting the hot air up to the windshield
