You should really run 4 U-bolts on the rearend and ditch the 4 T-bolts. I've seen quite a few housings develope stress cracks on the leaf spring perch and start leaking gear lube. Also ditch the spring isolators.

What crank and rods are you running in that 400 block?

thanks im using a steel forged crank custom to use a 5.7 rod, my rods were from summit, and i used sealed power pistons .30 over -16.22 reverse dome deep dish so it could have clearance on my valves in the heads with a 10 3/4 compression ratio

oh and dont worry about the rearend im changing over to cal trcs and monos after i get my engine in, trust me those springs are way too stiff to run i have no weight transfer so i have to change, thats what i get for doing stuff impatiently lol

Wow that looks great!

Just wondering about how long you been workin on that under carriage?I spent about 3 days under mine so far.Every night takin a shower and pullin little metal slivers out of my head from the wire wheel. It will be worth it when it looks like yours though.

That's really nice. Thanks for posting pics.Gets me motivated to get mine done.

Man I wish my car's floorpan where in the good of shape.

Keep up the work.Turnin into a nice car.
