Hello, I am new to this site. Heard about this site from user 71SS thanks. I have a question for the smart Nova people out there. Does anyone know if the quarter panels from a 70-72 nova are a direct fit on the 73-74's? i heard the only difference is the side marker location is the only difference. If someone can verify this for sure can you let me know? thanks guys.

The side marker location is slightly different, but more importantly, the sail panel are is not the same due to the different shape of the quarter window.

Yeh, i forgot to mension the sail rail also is different. The problem i find is that I want to use Full quarters but they only make half quarters for the 73-74 that I know of. The 70-72 are full's and I can cut down the sails on the panels to mount them (if this works) and keep my welds up high enough so I dont see them thru the inside of trunk if this makes sense.

or you can get 72 nova 80% quarters from goodmark for around $100-$150 each which is way cheaper than full quarters esp. that your cutting them down anyway...

You could also buy full quarter's with sails and covert your oversized rear windows to the earlier style. There's a guy on Steve's here who's almost completed the mod. It's looking awesome.

I'm planning to do it to my car down the road.

I was in the same boat and after I had it all done I then found a site that had 73/74 hatch full quarters. I am sorry I can't remember where but they are out there. Do some serious googling and you should find them
