I just installed ididit column in 67 nova, and i'm having trouble with the steering wheel adapter, when i tighten it down, it buts up against the column and doesn't budge. it won't turn at all. I've tried placing washers at the base of the shaft, and no luck. Is there any thing i need to do besides align it with the horn stem and tighten it down? thanks
